The series of H stool are designed by Xavier Pauchard, the founder of French Tolix company. the original series were divided into eight different sizes (450 ~ 800 mm), which could meet a variety of purposes. Now we have developed three dimensions respectively: 450 mm, 650 mm, 750 mm.
Xavier Pauchard was the well-known entrepreneur of France galvanized industry. Shortly after the first world war, Xavier Pauchard found the problem that furniture hardware often rusts. He began to research the method of galvanization to protect the oxidation process of metal products. His business was very good. In 1927, Xavier Pauchard registered the trademark of Tolix and began to design and produce this type of Chair, which was widely used outdoor, in cafe, ships and so on. Today, the series of Tolix are still vibrant and popular.
